Dear Miss Middleton,
The Governor of Hong Kong has asked to be supplied
in the case of each Nursing Sister engaged for service
under the Hong Kong Government with copies of her
Training Certificate, Testimonials, and if possible
evidence of her work as a qualified nurse, It would
geom, sufficient to supply the Governor with a copy
of the application form which you send to us whiên
recommending a nurse for employment. It hardly seems necessary to send copies of the actual certificates,
since, wo assume that in every ouse you verify the possession
position of the certificates mentioned in the
application form, It is possible, however, that you
might prefer to prepare for the information of
Colonial Governors a short statement of the record of
the candidate in each case, and if this were done we
should be glad to forward a copy to the Govemor in
all cases not only in the case of Hong Kong. I should
be much obliged if you would let me have your views
in the mat ter.
